Hello again!

Hello friends! I know it’s been a while since I’ve last blogged, but I’m back, and hopefully my recent adventures will be found interesting by everyone.  Since my last blog, Team Boyd has been busy as usual. We are still remodeling, traveling and enjoying life.

Cody is teaching me the meaning of patience by the never ending master-bedroom remodel project. The goal was to have the master-bedroom finished by now, but now, I’m just hoping it will be finished by the end of the year. Additionally, we have been lucky enough to visit Boston, MA and Yukon, Oklahoma. While those destinations aren’t as exciting as some of our past destinations, we had a great time and loved every minute of it.

We visited Boston in April, where  my mom took the train down from New York to spend time with us in Boston.  It was great to see her and all three of us had a great time.  Boston is a beautiful city, ful of lots of charm and personality.  We even spent a day in Salem, visiting the site of the Salem witch trials and learning more about the history behind the witch trials of that day.  Our only wish for the trip was that the weather had been better, but it didn’t slow us down.

We recently return from a trip to Yukon, Oklahoma.  Cody’s bestfriend from the Marine Corps lives in Yukon with his wife and son (little Cody) and so we figured it was time for a visit to meet the little guy.  We had a wonderful weekend in Yukon, playing with little Cody, riding horses and experiencing all that Oklahoma has to offer.   We look forward to when Shane, Julie & little Cody travel to Oregon, so that we can show them all the wonderful things that make Oregon great.

So in closing, I will attempt to keep my blog more updated with all of our adventures and stories.  I hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoy living them.
