Playa del Carmen, Mexico (our honeymoon June 2005)

Cody and I spent our honeymoon in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  Playa del Carmen is on the Eastern Coast of Mexico, on the Yucatan Pennisula, about an hour South of Cancun.  Playa del Carmen is a wonderfully small town, with the just the beginnings of a tourist town.  We spent a week there relaxing in the sun, exploring the town, visiting Mayan ruins and driving through the jungle.  Here are some pictures from our honeymoon.

We spent the day at Xcaret, an ecological par.  There were many birds and other wildlife there, as well as a river and caves to snorkle in.
